Strawberry Basket Cake

This cake was a basket weave cake around the sides with fresh strawberries on the top. I made this a 8" white chocolate cake with a strawberry and vanilla custard filling.

This came out as a pretty cake, that decorated up pretty fast. I hulled the strawberries before putting them on the cake, and I wish I hadn't. They started to drip later on that day. Oh well, just an excuse to eat it quickly!
